How to Custom Order and Build Your 2027 Ford at Tri State Ford ## Custom Ordering Your Next Truck at Tri State Ford Welcome to Tri State Ford. I am Nick Pirl, Sales Manager here, and over my 9 years of helping drivers find their perfect match, I have seen the custom order process become the absolute best way to get exactly what you want. If you are planning to haul gear down to Beaver Creek or navigate the rolling hills around Calcutta, building a truck from the ground up ensures you get the right mechanical setup. Instead of settling for whatever is sitting on a lot, our custom order process lets you select the exact cab, bed length, and powertrain for your daily workload. For those who need immediate capability for a job site, you can browse our selection of new Ford trucks or explore our heavy-duty commercial work truck options. We want to make the entire ownership experience seamless, which is why we also offer convenient options like valet pickup and delivery for future maintenance, and even a mobile service van that comes right to your driveway. If you are ready to start planning, you can find us easily by searching for a local Ford dealer or using our online tire selection tool. You can start the design online or come straight to our showroom to walk through the options step-by-step. First, we select your base model, such as the upcoming 2027 Ford F-150, and choose your preferred trim, cab style, and bed configuration. Our automotive financing experts will then help you review the price breakdown, ensuring all selected options fit your budget before we submit the order to the factory. If you want to see how older models compare in person, check our showroom hours and location details to plan a visit. Many buyers find that exploring pre-owned configurations helps them decide on specific cabin layouts and bed lengths. We maintain a high-quality selection of certified one-owner pre-owned inventory that you can inspect to see how different materials and features wear over time. Securing Rebates and Incentives on Custom Orders One of the most common questions I get from shoppers is whether custom-ordered vehicles qualify for the same retail promotions as vehicles on the lot. The short answer is yes, custom orders are eligible for qualifying manufacturer rebates and incentives. In many cases, Ford allows you to choose between the incentives available when you place the order or the ones active when the vehicle is delivered to our family-owned dealership. To lower your overall purchase cost, you can trade in your current vehicle to reduce your monthly payments. We make it easy to estimate your trade-in value online so you know exactly how much equity you can apply to your new build. While you wait for your new truck to arrive, keeping your current vehicle running smoothly is key to maintaining its trade value. Our team can help you stay ahead of routine care, including providing expert advice on essential maintenance like car battery care. Paperwork and Price Protection for Your New Build Securing price protection from the manufacturer requires a specific set of documentation to lock in your pricing. To protect your build from mid-year manufacturer price increases while your vehicle is being assembled, we must submit a completed retail buyer's order, a copy of your driver's license, and a signed order confirmation. This paperwork ensures the factory honors the agreed-upon price when your vehicle finally arrives. If you prefer not to wait for a custom build, you can always explore our in-stock new vehicle inventory or browse our latest new vehicle arrivals to see if we already have a matching configuration on the lot. We also keep a robust selection of heavy-duty commercial vehicles on hand, including F-Series work trucks and highly versatile Transit cargo vans. Be sure to check our current new vehicle offers to see if any of our in-stock models match your needs. Our sales team updates these offers regularly to ensure local buyers get a vehicle that fits your needs on their next purchase. Choosing Between the Maverick and Full-Size Ford Trucks Deciding between a compact pickup and a full-size truck comes down to your daily towing and payload requirements. The upcoming 2027 Ford Maverick is expected to remain a fantastic option for those seeking efficiency and maneuverability, especially with its anticipated starting price around $29,000 for the base XL trim. For Boardman commuters who travel daily along Market Street, the compact size and efficiency of the Maverick are tough to beat, offering an expected 42 mpg city / 35 mpg highway on front-wheel-drive hybrid models. However, if you need to tow heavy trailers or require maximum bed space, stepping up to a full-size truck like the 2027 Ford F-150 is the right move. The F-150 is expected to offer a robust engine lineup, including the 2.7L EcoBoost V6, 3.5L EcoBoost V6, 3.5L PowerBoost hybrid, and the classic 5.0L V8, providing substantially more capability than the Maverick's maximum 4,000 lb towing limit. You can read more about these model comparisons on our local automotive blog or check our pre-owned vehicle specials to compare older models. When you are ready to secure your financing, you can easily submit a secure online credit application to get pre-approved. Understanding Deposits and Order Tracking Details Placing a custom vehicle order involves a small upfront financial commitment to secure your production slot. To secure your custom order, we typically require a refundable deposit, which usually ranges from $100 to $1,000 depending on the specific model and trim configuration. Once the factory accepts the build, you will receive a unique vehicle identification number (VIN) so you can track the progress of your vehicle from the assembly line straight to our dealership. Before you finalize your order, I highly recommend you schedule a test drive to experience the different engine options and cab sizes in person. This hands-on experience helps ensure that every aspect of your build sheet matches your driving preferences. You can sit down with our team to get a guaranteed instant cash offer for your current vehicle to use as your down payment. Feel free to meet our sales staff online to find a representative who can guide you through the entire tracking process.
